I have a new album that I have been working on for the last few years. It's called "Tennessee Spring", and it's something of a broken love letter to the beautiful season of my home state. Spring has a lot of complex connections for me, a time of finding love and loss, a time of beauty and rebirth and of destruction. Inspired by hikes and flowers and floods and storms and love and death and family and pastoral folk and psychedelia and lo and hi and fi and vampires and friends and wrecks and old and new and memories and borrowed nostalgia and seasons and time and cycles and unknown and air and being stuck and the elusive constant of change.
